Nest Renewal - October 22, 2010
Girl Scout troop #12279's Corrine, Kota, Juliana, and Elena renew the nest wall, sewing the new branches in with giant wooden needles and manilla rope.
Welcome to the blog for the Children's Nest Egg. I'm Jonee, the designer from Full Spring Studio, who along with my team, Jeff Swainhart and Kathryn McFadden, and all the helpful people from the City of St.Louis Park got this project built over the spring, summer, and fall of 2008. The following posts describe background, steps in the process, and other thoughts so you can see how the project unfolded and ask questions, or add comments.

Thank you to Girl Scout Troop 10297 who adopted Children's Nest Egg as a service project, and did the bulk of the nest-raising and contributed writings to the project. It was an honor to be part of your Bronze Award work and event.

Fall 2010 Update: Thank you to Girl Scout Troop 12279 who re-raised the nest as part of its renewal cycle.
